INSANE Arsenal stat has Arne Slot looking like a tactical GOD

Liverpool watched Arsenal fall 2-0 to Bournemouth on Saturday evening. The result is a stat that makes Arne Slot's Reds look simply magnificent.

Liverpool have now got a chance to build a serious lead over Arsenal in the Premier League. The Gunners lost 2-0 at Bournemouth and host the Reds next weekend.

And they'll do it without William Saliba.

The defender was sent off for a last-man foul and his absence provided the Cherries with a glorious opportunity. They took it for their second-ever win over Arsenal.

The red card also cerated a truly ridiculous statistic, as pointed out by Duncan Alexander. Arsenal now have more red cards this season than Liverpool have conceded goals.

And if that doesn't show off just how well Arne Slot has the Reds running, nothing will.

Liverpool's imperious defence

Liverpool have conceded just twice this season, with Arsenal picking up three red cards. It's an unbelievable stat after seven and eight fixtures respectively. And not just that the Gunners have three red cards in eight games.

But the Reds' defence is the best in the league by an absolute mile right now. Nottingham Forest are the next best with six conceded, and even that's come at the cost of attack (seven goals, Liverpool have 13).

Slot is looking like a genius, in other words. He's walked in and got Liverpool producing magic, scoring plenty and barely conceding - even at a rate that embarrasses Arsenal's defence, one of the absolute best in the Premier League.

The Chelsea test could change things, of course. They're averaging over two goals per game and will really challenge Liverpool's defence.

So if the Arsenal stat still stands after today, we'll all be worshipping at the altar of Slot.
