Incredible wonderkid is about to SAVE Liverpool
One Liverpool wonderkid could be about to save Liverpool's season after another few injuries blows dealt to Jurgen Klopp's squad.
It was bad enough suffering elimination from the Champions League on Tuesday night but that was not all Arne Slot had to deal with.

The Reds' head coach also faces a potential headache when it comes to injuries with Ibrahima Konate and Trent Alexander-Arnold both forced off the pitch during the defeat to Paris Saint Germain at Anfield.
The former may have escaped serious damage but Alexander-Arnold remains a serious doubt for the considerable future.
With Conor Bradley also on the sidelines it leaves Slot with very little options in the right-back role. Against PSG, it was Jarell Quansah who came in and played a relatively solid game, but he's not a natural right-back.

There is someone from the club's academy who might be better suited to that role.
Why Liverpool's James McConnell can save Slot's selection headache
The player we are talking about is James McConnell, of course. Against Plymouth in the FA Cup the youngster played as a right-back last month and it's not the first time he has played that position.
McConnell has been used as a right-back at U21 and U18 level and he is comfortable playing as a wide player. Considering, Liverpool will be in for a tough test against Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup final, McConnell could definitely save Slot from a selection headache.
Quansah will likely start the game but McConnell will give Slot another option to change things. He won't be throwing him in at the deep end either.
This is the place where McConnell thrived last year coming on in the Carabao Cup final against Chelsea and dominating a midfield with Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez.
He won't be shy doing the same thing again playing in a different role. But it's not just now that McConnell could save Liverpool.
Long-term he's a midfielder who is highly rated at Anfield. He was liked by Jurgen Klopp during his time at the club and Slot is also a fan.
Slot was so impressed by him, he confirmed in his post-match press conference after the PSV game in January that McConnell will be staying at the club and that he plans to use him more often in the first team.
“There is definitely one of them that will not go on loan," Slot said.
"I think you know which one I mean. James McConnell. I wouldn’t say definitely, but I liked him a lot today, so maybe now the end result today would be it’d be good for him to go somewhere and play.
"He was also a player that hasn’t played in the last six or seven months 90 minutes because he was injured for a while. He impressed me a lot today.”
Against PSG it became very apparent that Liverpool need another midfielder who can cover for Ryan Gravenberch. The Dutchman is brilliant but he's being overused and he needs some rest.
McConnell is definitely capable of that. He's a very good midfielder and with the Premier League all but settled this is a golden opportunity for Slot to integrate him into the first team a little bit further.
In the long-term McConnell has the potential to save Liverpool millions. Instead of buying another midfielder for a lot of money, Slot could just promote from within.

It's clear he likes McConnell and with the PSG game having pretty much settled Liverpool's season, beyond the final against Newcastle, this is an opportunity now to look to the future.
