Loris Karius has said that Sadio Mane will have no issue settling into life in Germany ahead of his transfer to Bayern Munich this summer.

Speaking to Sky Sports Germany, as quoted by iMiaSanMia on Twitter, Karius said that Mane moving to Bayern is "incredible" for the German side.

"It's an incredible transfer for FC Bayern because he's one of Liverpool's absolute top players. When Bayern manages to sign someone like him then you can only congratulate them and the Bundesliga.

"He's a very reserved and down-to-earth person. He speaks a bit of German from his time in Salzburg and I always got along well with him. I think he will have no problem integrating in Germany."

Anfield Watch Verdict

It looks like the Mane deal is all but wrapped up. Fabrizio Romano, as cited by AW on Twitter, has confirmed that all the paperwork has been signed between Bayern Munich and Liverpool.

Mane will sign a three-year deal at the German champions which will see him earn £360k per week, according to The Mirror's David Maddock, as cited by Anfield Watch.

When you look at the weekly wage the 30-year-old will be making at Bayern, you can see why the Reds decided to sell him and not renew his contract.

If he received the aforementioned fee at Liverpool, then it would've destroyed our wage structure, something we know Fenway Sports Group will not let happen.

It's going to be sad to see Mane leave, but it's the best option for both parties in my opinion. I'll personally be keeping a keen eye on his career with Bayern and hopefully he can shine as bright as he did with Liverpool.

He also guarantees himself more trophies moving to Germany, which is always a good thing.

Good luck Sadio and thank you for everything you have helped Liverpool achieve.
