Liverpool's newest signing, Luis Diaz, has called his new manager, Jurgen Klopp, 'incredible'.

Speaking to Liverpool FC, as cited by Anfield Watch's Twitter account, Diaz has talked about how Klopp has helped him adapt to playing with Liverpool.

"The manager? Incredible! That’s a single word you can use for him from the short time we’ve spent working together," said Diaz.

"He’s a very humble, down-to-earth person, very calm. He tries to ensure all his players are happy, and for me, that’s very important.

"At the start, I think it was more about him telling me what I’ve been doing up to now. He was trying to put across to me that all it was about was for me to keep doing what I’ve been used to.

"He wanted me to know that I’d been performing very well up to now and that I should just try to keep on doing more of the same. To play my football with joy and happiness, while obviously incorporating the preferred tactical plans and instructions into my game."

Anfield Watch Verdict

Since Diaz arrived at Liverpool, he's been a breath of fresh air. It feels like ever since he joined there has just been a buzz around the club.

He's broken into the first team and he is now a part of our best front three. His performances have impressed Jurgen Klopp so much that he has had to drop the most in-form striker in the league, Diogo Jota, to play Sadio Mane upfront so the Colombian can play on the wing.

This little change of system has really been to Liverpool's benefit though, as Mane has found his form again and when we are struggling for goals, Jota can come on and breathe new life into the game.

It's all starting to look up for Liverpool and the addition of Diaz has definitely contributed to that.
