Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has revealed that he is "focused on the small details" when it comes to his game.

The Reds signed the Egyptian international from Roma for a transfer fee of £37.80 million back in the summer of 2017.

Since then, Salah has scored 158 goals and registered 64 assists in 257 appearances for Liverpool's first-team.

The 30-year-old has helped the club win the Champions League, Super Cup, FIFA Club World Cup, Premier League title, League Cup, FA Cup and Community Shield.

Salah has recently opened up on how he continues to get the best out of himself.

As quoted by the club’s website, he told Premier League Productions the following: “I’m really focused on small details because I think small details, at the end of the day, are going to make a huge difference between players.

“So on the details I really try to ask about everything and have all the details. Not just in the game, even outside – food, drink, hydration, sleep, time, everything. I’m really crazy and particular about that because I think it has made a huge difference.”

Anfield Watch Verdict

Salah is a world-class player. So, we are very fortunate that the winger represents Liverpool.

Salah signed a new deal with the club earlier this summer. The Egyptian international is contracted until the conclusion of the 2024-25 campaign.

The Anfield faithful will be able to sit back and watch Salah represent the club for at least a few more years.

Hopefully the 30-year-old can propel Liverpool towards a trophy or two this season.
