Brazil legend Ronaldinho has given his prediction for Saturday's Champions League final between Liverpool and Real Madrid.

The clash will take place at the Stade de France at 8:00pm BST. Ronaldinho is hoping for a "beautiful final". He said that both Liverpool and Real Madrid possess incredible players.

However, Ronaldinho tipped the Reds to defeat the La Liga giants.

“Liverpool and Real Madrid are very similar teams when it comes to the will to win and they both fight until the last minute. They are two incredible teams with incredible players," he told SportBible, as quoted by Anfield Watch's Twitter account.

"I hope it is a very beautiful final with many goals. Madrid showed a lot of spirit and came back from difficult situations this season, but in the current form I think Liverpool can surprise if they score goals at the beginning.

"I think defensively they have a well-experienced team and I don't believe they made the same mistakes that other teams have made."

Anfield Watch Verdict

Champions League finals are never easy games to win. We expect the clash to be tight and nervy simply because of what is on the line.

In saying that, Liverpool certainly possess more than enough quality to win the match.

The Reds are terrific going forward and stable in defence. Liverpool scored 94 goals and only conceded 26 in 38 Premier League fixtures this season.

So, if Jurgen Klopp's side can bring their A-game against Real Madrid, they will give themselves a great chance of winning the match.

Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has made it clear that the team is raring to go.

He said the following during his most recent press conference, as quoted by the club's official website: "The mood is good, to be honest. Training was very good today (yesterday), I can see the excitement in the lads ready for the weekend, that’s good."
