Thiago Alcantara has spoken about Liverpool's fixtures in April, which include two games against Manchester City and a Champions League quarter-final.

April is going to be a pivotal month for Liverpool's quadruple hopes. If they win every game then they'll be in a Champions League semi-final, FA Cup final and top of the league.

Speaking to Liverpoolfc.com, as cited by Anfield Watch's Twitter account, Thiago has said that this month is one of the most exciting months of football he has have ever played.

“The other day I was talking with some friends about it and in the years that I have been involved in football, I never had a month so exciting like this with such important and exciting matches every three days. So it will be amazing," said Thiago.

“Well, it’s not the most exciting month of my career [but] for sure it is exciting because you are competing against the best, in the best competitions as well, but also because it reminds you that we are in finals.

“It looks like a World Cup, a European Cup, where every game is a final. With that we are in a one-mission mood and we are there.”

Anfield Watch Verdict

This month is probably the hardest month we have been a part of while Jurgen Klopp has been our manager.

In April, we play Watford, Benfica twice, Manchester City twice, Manchester United, Everton and Newcastle United. Also if we beat Benfica then there could be a Champions League semi-final leg that Liverpool have to play in April too.

We know that Klopp's teams have always done well when the pressure is on and the football is relentless so hopefully, the German has his players hyped up and ready for one of the toughest months of football they'll have to play in their careers.
