Liverpool right-back Conor Bradley has opened up on his loan move to Bolton Wanderers.

The 18-year-old will spend the entire 2022-23 campaign at the University of Bolton Stadium.

With that being the case, Bradley was recently quizzed about his move. The youngster revealed that he "can't wait to get started".

As quoted by Anfield Watch on Twitter, he told Bolton's official website the following: “I can’t wait to get started. Whenever I’ve met the gaffer, he’s told me about how they play football and about how he wants to make it a successful season, so I can’t wait to get started.

“He’s been saying about how much he wanted me to come here and the way they play football and playing possession football and creating loads of chances. That was all music to my ears and made me very eager to come here.

“Whenever I spoke to the gaffer he was telling me about the way we want to play football and the way we do play football and how his aims are to hopefully get promoted this season. Just everything he was saying to me I liked.

“It’s obviously a massive club so I can’t wait to get started.”

Anfield Watch Verdict

Bradley has made the correct decision by going out on loan. The reality is, the right-back is behind the likes of Trent Alexander-Arnold and Calvin Ramsay in the pecking order at Liverpool.

So, there is no denying that Bradley will get more of an opportunity at Bolton. He will only improve by playing regular senior football, and League One is a decent standard.

There is only so much you can learn from sitting on the sidelines. We wish Bradley all the best ahead of the 2022-23 campaign.

We are certain that he will return to Anfield a better player. Who knows, Bradley might be a future first-team Liverpool player.
