West Ham United forward Jarrod Bowen has praised Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah.

The Egyptian international has been a terrific player for the Reds over the years. Salah has won three Premier League Golden Boots during his time at Anfield.

With that being the case, Bowen has revealed that he looks up to the 30-year-old.

"There's a lot of left footed players all around the world but in the Premier League I look at Mo Salah and see what he's done in the past six years or however long he's been here," he told the Liverpool Echo, as quoted by Anfield Watch on Twitter.

"The goals that he's scored and the way that he plays, I'd say he's the best of the best in that position. He's one that I look at especially because he plays in the league as well."

Anfield Watch Verdict

Salah is a world-class footballer. So, it is not hard to understand why Bowen looks up to the winger.

The Reds have been linked with a move for the West Ham man. We would not be against Liverpool signing Bowen in the near future.

The England international is a promising young player. Bowen has found the back of the net 28 times and secured 23 assists in 108 appearances for West Ham United's first-team.

The winger is contracted until the conclusion of the 2024-25 campaign. Bowen possesses a current market value of £37.80 million.

If the 25-year-old joined Liverpool, he would be training and playing with his idol. But, only time will tell if Bowen is to join the Reds.
