“He’s a phenomenon" - Gary Neville praises Liverpool man
Pundit Gary Neville has recently praised Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold.
The 46-year-old said that the Scouser is a "phenomenon". Neville also likened Alexander-Arnold to Kevin De Bruyne, David Beckham and Steven Gerrard.
As quoted by The Anfield Talk's Twitter account, Neville told Sky Sports the following: “He’s a phenomenon. He’s De Bruyne, Beckham and Gerrard in one - from right back.”ANFIELD WATCH VERDICT
We completely agree with Neville that Alexander-Arnold is a "phenomenon".
The right-back is a defender by trade. However, Alexander-Arnold is very good with the ball at his feet, which is why Neville has likened him to De Bruyne, Beckham and Gerrard.
The 23-year-old has scored 12 goals and registered 54 assists in 198 appearances for the Reds.
Alexander-Arnold has also won the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, FIFA Club World Cup and Premier League title with the club.
Due to the right-back's age, it would be fair to assume that he still has plenty of room left for improvement. It would also be fair to assume that Alexander-Arnold could win a few more trophies with Liverpool.
