Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has revealed that Reds winger Mohamed Salah was angry after the club's recent Premier League clash against Everton at Goodison Park.

Liverpool defeated the Toffees 4-1. Salah scored two goals for the Reds.

Despite that being the case, the Egyptian international was not satisfied with his efforts against Everton, according to Klopp.

As quoted by the Liverpool Echo, Klopp told Amazon Prime Sport the following come the end of the match: “He [Salah] was angry after the game.

“He wanted to score a third one, I don’t know exactly which situation but who cares.

“[It’s] all fine. That’s how strikers are.”

ANFIELD WATCH VERDICT

Salah has scored 144 goals and registered 54 assists in 222 appearances for Liverpool.

The Egyptian international has also won four major trophies with the Reds.

The aforementioned figures highlight that Salah is a world-class player.

But, Klopp's comments highlight that Salah is driven to improve, which we absolutely love.

We never want to see any Liverpool player settle. What is exciting is that the winger is only 29 years of age. Salah's career is far from finished.

With that being the case, we are confident that he can continue to improve. On another note, Liverpool sit in third-place on the Premier League table after 14 matches.
