Pundit Paul Robinson believes that Liverpool will sign Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham next summer.

The Reds have been linked with a move for the England international in recent times.

Bellingham is contracted until the conclusion of the 2024-25 campaign. The England international possesses a current market value of £72 million.

Robinson is under the impression that Bellingham and Liverpool would be a good match.

As quoted by TEAMtalk, he told Football Insider the following: “He just fits in at Liverpool. The way that he plays and the system Klopp plays, it is a great fit.

“Bellingham is an incredibly talented footballer. He still has his best years ahead of him. He already has an unbelievable reputation. His charisma on the ball is something special. I love watching him.

“To achieve what he has at such a young age is remarkable. I think he has been really clever with how he has managed his career and his career path.

“It is only a matter of time before he returns to England. I strongly suspect he will move to Liverpool because of the way they play. It suits him.”

Anfield Watch Verdict

We would love to see Bellingham at Anfield. The reality is, the midfielder is a serious talent.

Bellingham has scored 13 goals and registered 18 assists in 100 appearances for Borussia Dortmund's first-team.

The 19-year-old has also averaged a WhoScored player rating of 7.43 across the early stages of the 2022-23 Bundesliga campaign.

The aforementioned figures highlight that Bellingham is a top player.

Because of the midfielder's age, it would be fair to assume that he is far from the finished article. Only time will tell if Liverpool and the Bellingham are to cross paths.
