"He is pretty special" - Jurgen Klopp on Luis Diaz
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has praised Reds forward Luis Diaz.
The club signed the Colombia international from Porto for a transfer fee of €45 million back in January.
Diaz has looked promising when he has played for Liverpool this season. The 25-year-old has scored two goals in 12 appearances.
Diaz has already won a trophy with the Reds. Liverpool claimed the League Cup back in February.
Klopp was asked a question in relation to Diaz during a recent interview. The German said that the winger is "pretty special" to watch.
As quoted by Anfield Watch's Twitter account, Klopp told BT Sport the following: "He is pretty special. He is incredible, the speed he has - technically he is outstanding. He is a fantastic worker on the training ground. He can't stop smiling. He is a great boy. He feels at home.
"Now he wants to go from here and it is really nice to have him around."Anfield Watch Verdict
We have been really impressed with how Diaz has performed for Liverpool thus far. As Klopp implied, the forward looks to make things happen when he gets on the ball.
To be fair, we have not been surprised with how Diaz has been playing since signing for the Reds. The Colombia international has shown in the past that he possesses ability.
Diaz found the back of the net 41 times and registered 19 assists in 125 appearances for Porto's first-team.
The exciting thing about the winger is that he is only 25 years of age. With that being the case, it would be fair to assume that he is entering the prime years of his career.
We look forward to seeing how Diaz develops under Klopp.
