"Give it your all" - Virgil van Dijk on Liverpool's fixtures during April
Virgil van Dijk has spoken about Liverpool's upcoming fixtures in the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League.
With Liverpool getting through the FA Cup semi-finals yesterday, the Reds have just made their April fixture schedule that much more difficult.
Speaking after the Reds won 1-0 against Nottingham Forest, Van Dijk spoke about the difficulty of the upcoming fixture and said that they just have to 'enjoy it'.
"I think one of the first things you donโt have to forget is: enjoy it. Like today, itโs something you should enjoy, these nights where you have to fight for everything. So thatโs what we have to do in April as well," said Virgil.
"An international break now, we have to fight for our countries in a good way hopefully, a change of scenery and hopefully everyone comes back fit and healthy.
"You just have to give it your all, enjoy the moment and focus on the game ahead of us. Itโs good we are going to Wembley again."
Anfield Watch Verdict
Saying that April is a difficult month for Liverpool would be a massive understatement. The Reds have eight games during that time, which include two legs of a Champions League quarter-final against Benfica and a semi-final at Wembley versus Manchester City.
Liverpool also face Man City, Manchester United, Everton, Newcastle United and Watford in the Premier League too.
This month is make or break for the Reds, especially if Jurgen Klopp's side have an eye on winning the historic quadruple.
However, if Liverpool come out of this month with maximum points and a confirmed spot in the FA Cup final and the Champions League semi-final, then everyone will start believing that we have a genuine chance to win everything this season.
