FPL: Which Liverpool players should you pick or drop in Gameweek 14

Liverpool have an appetising run of fixtures in their next few games, making it the perfect time to get some Reds in your Fantasy Premier League squads.

Jurgen Klopp's side have been in impressive form this season and Liverpool players have proved a reliable source of FPL points.

Mohamed Salah has obviously been the standout candidate but there are plenty of other interesting options in the Liverpool team.

With Fulham (H), Sheffield United (A), Crystal Palace (A), Manchester United (H), Arsenal (H) and Burnley (A) in the Reds' remaining league games in 2023, now is the time to jump on the Liverpool bandwagon.

Let's take a look at who to pick or drop in FPL ahead of Gameweek 14, with Fulham up next for the Reds at Anfield.

This one may seem incredibly obvious, especially given Salah was recently the first player to reach 100 points this season, but only 48.8% of managers have the Egyptian in their squad.

At £13.0m, Salah may be a difficult man to get in your team if you don't already have him, but he's worth moving heaven and earth for in FPL.

Salah has only failed to get an attacking return in two of 13 matches this term - away at Tottenham (where he should have had an assist but for VAR) and Luton Town in Gameweek 11.

Salah has contributed an average of 8.2 points per match this season and with Fulham up next, followed by Sheffield United and Palace, the winger will be a popular captain choice in upcoming games.

TRENT ALEXANDER-ARNOLD (IN)

Having netted against Man City last weekend, Alexander-Arnold has now produced returns in four of his last five outings, including three clean sheets against Everton, Nottingham Forest and Brentford.

With some simple(ish) fixtures on the horizon against teams who don't tend to score too many goals, Alexander-Arnold could be on for some more nice hauls.

Plus, with set-pieces and his more advanced midfield position, Alexander-Arnold is always capable of attacking returns.

At £7.9m, the right-back is only owned by 8.9% of managers, making him a quality differential option.

LUIS DIAZ (IN)

If you're looking for a more rogue candidate to help you claw your way up your mini-leagues, then Diaz could be the perfect differential.

With Diogo Jota's injury looking serious, the Colombian is set for an extended run of starts in the Premier League, especially without the distraction of the Europa League.

His form for Colombia over the international break was fantastic, scoring a brace against Brazil, and his recent headers against Luton and LASK show that he is in goalscoring mood.

At £7.4m and with an ownership of just 7.0%, Diaz could give you the edge over your fellow managers if he can continue his good form.

CAOIMHIN KELLEHER (IN)

With Alisson sidelined for the next few matches, Kelleher could provide an alternative in the Liverpool goal, especially at the ridiculous price of £3.9m.

If you already have Alisson, you could switch to Kelleher until the Brazilian returns.

The Irishman is yet to play a minute in the Premier League but his recent performance against LASK in the Europa League showed that he is a capable deputy. While he is nowhere near the level of Alisson, he could still be a low-risk, high-reward option in FPL.

DOMINIK SZOBOSZLAI (OUT)

Szoboszlai may be Liverpool's fourth-highest points scorer this season but, especially at £7.1m, there are better options out there.

Since Gameweek 5, the midfielder has only achieved more than four points on one occasion - a 12-point haul against Forest in Gameweek 10.

Considering options like Anthony Gordon (£5.9m), Kaoru Mitoma (£6.5m) and Jeremy Doku (£6.7m) are cheaper options than Szoboszlai, you could save yourself some money by swapping out the midfielder.
