Antonio Conte has praised Jurgen Klopp's achievements this season ahead of Saturday's game at Anfield.

Speaking in his pre-Liverpool press conference, as cited by National News, Conte praised the job that Klopp is doing with the Reds this season.

“I think Jurgen Klopp is doing a fantastic job with his team," said Conte. "It is not easy, especially for an English team to arrive at the end of the season to stay in the race for all the competitions that you compete (in).

“It is incredible. You can see Liverpool's players run a lot, they have not had many injuries. Their enthusiasm is not 100 per cent, it is 200 per cent. You don't feel the fatigue when you reach this point.”

Anfield Watch Verdict

The reverse fixture of this game was exhilarating, if you were a neutral fan. The game included four goals, eight yellow cards and a red card. It had it all.

At the time, this result seemed to put to bed the title charge and most fans seemed to accept that Manchester City would reclaim the league once again.

However, thanks to an amazing January, Klopp's side managed to pull some much-needed points back and we're now just one point behind Pep Guardiola’s side.

Heading into this game at Anfield, it's a must-win for both sides. If Liverpool lose then it's highly unlikely that they catch Man City with three remaining games to go.

Spurs are already two points behind North London rivals Arsenal in the battle for top four and if they were to lose this then it would be devastating.

However, with Tottenham's next Premier League game after Liverpool being the North London derby, they could pull it off if they were to beat Mikel Arteta's side.

Whatever happens on Saturday, the final result is going to impact the Premier League table massively. Hopefully it favours Liverpool and not Tottenham though.
