Fabinho urges Liverpool to build confidence after Brentford win
Fabinho has urged Liverpool to use Sunday's result against Brentford as a way of growing confidence for the coming games before the next international break.
Liverpool have got a tall order if they are wanting to win the title this season with a string of victories needed and the dropping of points by Man City also required.
Even so, the Reds are still competing on four fronts at the moment and confidence will be key, with the Brazilian midfielder saying that using Sunday's victory against the Bees as a springboard would be a good thing to do.
He said via LFC's official channels and as quoted by Anfield Watch on Twitter:
Anfield Watch Verdict
The midfielder had a fine game in the middle of the park and capped his performance off with a goal - the first of three on the day.
He's a player of world class ability in that role in the middle of the pitch and when he can add a goal or two to his game like he did on Sunday he only adds to his value even more.
Hopefully, the Reds heed his words and can build confidence in the weeks ahead.
