After all, he's performing as one of the most impressive left-backs in the Premier League this season at just 21. Anfield Watch understands Liverpool started initial talks over a move back in November.
And Kerkez himself hinted at a move recently, saying it 'wouldn't look bad' if he joined compatriot Dominik Szoboszlai at Anfield. That's certainly fuel to the fire, especially after previously saying he'd never move to Liverpool.
But just how likely is a transfer? It's something Anfield Watch asked Richard Henczi in a recent interview.

Henczi is an agent and former youth football coach based in Hungary. He coached Kerkez at Gyor when the youngster first moved to the country.
Here's what he had to say.
Milos Kerkez to Liverpool?
“I think he’s ready to go to a higher level club [than Bournemouth]," said Henczi. Who went on to say Kerkez is 'ready to take the next step'.
"If he wants to go to Liverpool, he will go to Liverpool," he said, before playing up the potential impact of Szoboszlai on making a deal happen.

Perhaps the most interesting bit of the interview, though, came with Henczi suggesting why Kerkez could be tempted into a move at this point in his career.
"I mean he has everything [to be one of the best left-backs]. I think he can't be in the top five left-backs around the world if he plays at a smaller club. So it depends on his next transfer - how many minutes will he play there and how well will he play there?
"[Do they] play in the UEFA Champions League or just the Europa League and you know, these kinds of decisions. If he gets the chance, I think he has everything to be in the top five or ten left-backs in the world."

With Liverpool on the lookout for a new left-back, Kerkez is sure to be near the top of the queue. Whether a move happens, though, largely depends on the potential Henczi is talking about - from both sides.
Can Kerkez become an elite player at Liverpool? If both sides believe the answer is 'yes', this is one that could see him land at Anfield.
