Darwin Nunez is currently out of favour at Anfield, and his future is in doubt. Anfield Watch revealed exclusively that Saudi Arabian clubs are now also considering making a move for his services.

It will only be a matter of time until the Uruguayan will be offloaded and Anfield Watch has already revealed who Liverpool would like to replace him.

But as well as signing a replacement, Liverpool are also seeking out a young option to add to the squad.

Why Liverpool are ready to move for Stefanos Tzimas

Anfield Watch can exclusively reveal that Liverpool are keen on making a move for 19-year-old Greek wonderkid Stefanos Tzimas.

The forward is currently on loan from PAOK at FC Nurnberg in the 2.Bundesliga and has impressed with eight goals and two assists in 14 appearances so far.

Liverpool admire the young forward's ability on the ball, including his link-up play and view him as a potential future first team player under Arne Slot.

On top of that, Liverpool have also been attracted to Tzimas' off the ball work, which again fits perfectly into Slot's methodology at Anfield.

Nurnberg have an €18m buy option from PAOK which the German side are expected to trigger.

It remains to be seen whether Liverpool will make a move for Tzimas in the January or summer transfer window. The Reds are exploring both options at the moment.

But the bottom line is that Nurnberg will be hoping to make a profit on the fee they will eventually end up signing the Greek forward for.

The Reds would still view that as a bargain deal for a forward with an abundance of potential who is someone who fits perfectly into the club's recruitment policy and Michael Edwards' philosophy at Anfield.

It is expected regardless of what happens, Liverpool will continue to monitor Tzimas for the rest of the season with the plan to loan him back to Nurnberg even if they do sign him this month.

The Reds are not alone in their desire to sign Tzimas, though. Competition is fierce with other Premier League and European sides also interested.

With Tzimas really highly rated by Liverpool officials, the Reds will be determined to get their man.
