EXCLUSIVE: PSG's irresistible offer to Ibrahima Konate
Liverpool have been rocked by the news that Paris Saint-Germain intend to test their resolve for Ibrahima Konate with a transfer bid.
The French defender has been demonstrating the best form of his Anfield career this season.

Aside from an Endrick-induced knock to his knee, the 25-year-old has finally managed to shake off his persistent injury issues and looks a solid partner for Virgil van Dijk at centre-back.
And just as Liverpool fans might have been getting used to the idea of seeing the World Cup finalist in red for the long term came the news that PSG were planning to sign him in summer.
Anfield Watch was first with the news that the Parisians were seeking to repatriate Konate, who grew up a PSG fan in the French capital.
Liverpool have got an impending contract issue to solve with Konate, whose current terms expire in 2026, and last week he admitted there was no progress over a new deal.
By summer the centre-back will be only 12 months away from leaving on a Bosman. If there is no movement on a new deal then PSG are expected to pounce.
PSG will make Konate captain
And Anfield Watch can reveal the Ligue 1 side are ready to sweeten any offer they make for Konate by offering him the club captaincy.
Having already captained France this season, this offer demonstrates the leadership credentials possessed by the £36 million defender.
It remains to be seen what happens with current captain Marquinhos, 30, if Konate comes to the club but that is no doubt a problem for manager Luis Enrique to solve another day.
Konate joined Liverpool from RB Leipzig in summer 2021 but failed to establish himself as a consistent first-choice under Jurgen Klopp.
He fell out of the lineup last season with Jarell Quansah preferred and the young Englishman even started this season in possession of the starting shirt.
However a poor opening 45 minutes of the Premier League season versus Ipswich for Quansah opened the door to Konate, who has not looked back.
This season he has played 22 matches in total, scoring twice, and being recognised as one of the best defenders around.
