EXCLUSIVE: Liverpool to pay record-breaking fee for brilliant wonderkid

The Premier League leaders met with the 19-year-old’s agent earlier in the week and personal terms are not going to be an issue.
Tzimas’ loan agreement with FC Nurnberg was what needed to be carefully navigated.
The Bundesliga.2 side have a deal in place to turn his interim spell in Germany into a permanent one at the end of the current campaign. The centre forward, who has eight goals and two assists in 14 appearances this term, has a clause in his deal which would see him move from PAOK for £15million in the summer.
Liverpool's record bid for Stefanos Tzimas
Anfield Watch has learned that after talks between all three clubs this week, Liverpool were told that a fee of £25million would be enough to secure a deal now. Something the Premier League leaders are eager to do.
It would make Tzimas the most expensive player in Greek history, surpassing the £23million Marseille paid to sign Kostas Mitroglou.
The Reds are hoping to get the transfer completed quickly with Bayern Munich showing an interest in the highly rated youngster. However, his arrival at Anfield is tied to the departure of Darwin Nunez. Liverpool's current No9 is a target for Saudi clubs this month.
