Anfield Watch has been informed that Liverpool have a player who is similar to Alisson Becker.
The Brazilian goalkeeper showcased why he is the best in the world against Paris Saint Germain in the Champions League one Tuesday night.
Liverpool Transfer News: Nunez replacement FOUND as star likely to LEAVE
Alisson prevented 1.82 xG faced and made nine saves in the match, very much keeping Liverpool in the game.
Facing a formidable PSG attack that had scored 40 goals in their last 10 matches prior to the clash, Alisson's cleansheet will go down as one of the best individual goalkeeping performances in competition history.
It's yet another reminder why Liverpool have one of the best goalkeepers of all time and as Anfield Watch revealed exclusively, Alisson is very much happy and content to stay at the club for many years to come.

But at academy level there is someone who is showcasing signs he might be ready to replace him in the future.
Why Kornel Misciur is 'similar' to Alisson
Liverpool signed the 17-year-old Polish shot stopper from Hull City back in 2023, and it looks like the club could have landed another Alisson with his acquisition.
Misciur has caught the eye ever since arriving at Liverpool's academy. He's already playing a level above, catching the eye for the club's U21 team.
And he has tentatively been involved at first team level as well, earning a call up to the senior squad for Liverpool's EFL League Cup game against Brighton earlier this season.
Misciur is very much one to watch and according to Liverpool academy expert Lewis Bower, he's 'similar' to Alisson.
Bower spoke exclusively to Anfield Watch on our YouTube channel where we explored the five wonderkids to keep an eye out for in the academy in 2025.
Misciur was highlighted as one to watch and earned rave reviews from Bower.
Yeah, on his frame, obviously not in terms of his ability, but his body shape in his frame really does remind me of Allison," Bower said.
"With like the big stocky shoulders, he's got a really wide span of his arms.
"It really does seem similar to Allison in terms of his build and the way he claws away shots. I think there's comparisons to be made."
The teenager will not be at Alisson's level yet, but neither was Alisson at the same age.

What is certain is that Misciur is one to watch. He's someone with a lot of potential and with the club's academy having a great knack for producing good goalkeepers, it's not unfeasible to suggest he could be a future no.1 goalkeeper at Anfield.
