"Everyone is just so close" - Fabio Carvalho on Liverpool's morale

Liverpool attacker Fabio Carvalho has given his opinion on the atmosphere inside the dressing room.

The Reds have had a terrible start to the 2022-23 Premier League campaign. Liverpool have only been able to accumulate two points from a possible nine.

However, Carvalho has made it clear that the environment inside the dressing room is still positive.

As quoted by Anfield Watch on Twitter, he told Liverpoolfc.com the following: "Obviously I’ve been here a short period but even from day one you could see that. Maybe it’s a bit of a cliché thing to say we’re a family – everyone says that – but literally here that’s how it is.

"Everyone is just so close to each other and the way I’ve been embraced and welcomed into the team has been nothing short of amazing. I’m sure we’ll be able to show our togetherness on and off the pitch and that will result in better results.”

Anfield Watch Verdict

Since 2019, Liverpool have won the Champions League, Super Cup, FIFA Club World Cup, Premier League title, League Cup, FA Cup and Community Shield.

So, a few poor results shouldn't define the club's season. Going by Carvalho's comments, the players that are representing Liverpool are keen to put things right.

Therefore, we are confident that the Reds can bounce back in the near future. But, there is no denying that Liverpool have been extremely poor in recent weeks.

If Jurgen Klopp's team don't improve in attack and defence, it could be a very long season.
