Here is every team Liverpool could face in the Europa League Last 16. The Reds are among the favourites to win the competition.

Liverpool will be in the UEFA Europa League Last 16 draw on February 23rd. They'll play their knockout games on the 7th and 14th of March and because of their seeding, the second leg will be at Anfield.

That seeding is thanks to Liverpool topping their Europa League Group earlier this season. They finished ahead of Toulouse, Union SG and LASK, qualifying for the Last 16 and skipping the Knockout-Round Play Offs.

The Play Offs see the second-placed teams from the Europa League Groups compete in two-legged ties against teams that finished third in their Champions League Groups. The eight victorious teams will then enter the Last 16.

Who could Liverpool face in the Europa League Last 16?

The eight Play Off ties are as follows:

• Feyenoord vs AS Roma
• AC Milan vs Rennes
• RC Lens vs SC Freiberg
• Young Boys vs Sporting CP
• Benfica vs Toulouse
• SC Braga vs Qarabag
• Galatasaray vs Sparta Prague
• Shakhtar Donetsk vs Marseille

Liverpool, then, will face one of these 16 teams. The only rule dictating the draw is that teams from the same nation can't face one another in the Last 16 (they can from the Quarter-finals) but as no English team competes in the Play Offs, the Reds can be drawn alongside all 16.

Now, none of these teams are enormous threats to Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp's team will be favourites no matter who they're put with. There are a few in fantastic form, though, who could cause trouble.

Sporting and Benfica are flying in Portugal - the latter, in particular, have only lost one league game this season. Galatasaray are in fantastic form, too, with only one defeat. Milan are comfortably third in Serie A, too, and not a team Liverpool will want to face.

Thursday will see the first legs for all eight games, with the second-legs happening next week. That will see this group wittled down to eight potential opponents for the Reds.

Once again, the draw is February 23rd for the UEFA Europa League Last 16.
