Dutch legend HAILS Arne Slot's Ryan Gravenberch DECISION
Liverpool have started the season excellently and new head coach Arne Slot already has his side competing at the top of the Premier League table.
One of the standout performers of the Reds campaign so far has been Ryan Gravenberch, who has been a mainstay in Slot’s starting XI.
Gravenberch has already played over half of the minutes he managed last season and has won multiple Player of the Match awards.

He has been one of a number of impressive performers for the Reds and has cemented himself as a starter under Slot.
Now, a Dutch legend has revealed just how Slot has been able to get the best out of Gravenberch.
Edgar Davids has his say on Gravenberch
Speaking to Sky Sports, European Cup winner Edgar Davids has had his say on Slot’s start to the season and on how the new boss has improved Gravenberch.
“You look at Ryan Gravenberch, he played on the left now he plays on the right. He didn’t do well at Bayern Munich and he didn’t do very well in his first year in Liverpool but now? He’s on top of the world!” Davids said.
“Sometimes some managers have a clear vision and clear roles for certain players but in the beginning they wanted to buy another player [Zubimendi] and they couldn’t get him so they had to put [Gravenberch] there.
“You also have a managerial responsibility to train him and to guide him and till now he did well.”
Under Slot, Gravenberch has matured into a top-class player, earning a recall to the Dutch national team. The 22-year-old is a genuine contender for Liverpool’s player of the season as it stands.
Slot’s excellent start to the season
Slot has won 12 of his opening 14 games as Liverpool boss. He is undefeated away from home and has already managed a 3-0 victory over the Reds’ biggest rivals Manchester United at Old Trafford.
The Dutchman has managed to get the best out of a number of his players, Gravenberch included, but players such as Luis Diaz, Mohamed Salah and Cody Gakpo are also in red-hot form.
Liverpool are currently in the middle of a very difficult run but the pressure doesn’t seem to have gotten to Slot yet, and if the Reds can maintain their current form they will have to be considered serious contenders for every competition they are in.
A disappointing loss at home to a good Nottingham Forest sign is the only blot on what has otherwise been a fantastic start to life in Merseyside for Arne Slot, and the Anfield faithful will be hoping that the Dutchman can lead their team to glory.
