Dominik Szoboszlai's cheeky warning to Alexander-Arnold after Bradley display

Dominik Szoboszlai told Trent Alexander-Arnold to 'take care of his position' after Conor Bradley's standout performance against Chelsea on Wednesday night.

The 20-year-old right back scored and registered two assists as Liverpool beat the Blues 4-1 at Anfield in the first Premier League game since Jurgen Klopp's shock exit announcement.

Bradley was a surprise inclusion on the teamsheet considering Alexander-Arnold's return to fitness, but continued his run of fine form with a Man of the Match display that earned him a 10/10 in Anfield Watch's player ratings.

Speaking after the game, an emotional Bradley said the night felt like a dream after scoring his first senior goal for the Reds.

"It's a very proud moment, something I dreamed of for a long time," the Northern Ireland international said. "I feel like I'm in a dream. It's unbelievable.

"I just couldn't believe my goal went in. I didn't know what to do. I went over to the corner and did a knee slide. It was brilliant, so it was.

"It was unfortunate the way Trent got injured. I just had to try to take my chance. I feel I've done pretty well."

Standing alongside Bradley as he gave his post-match interview to TNT Sports was Dominik Szoboszlai, who benefitted from one of the youngsters assists by heading in Liverpool's third on the night.

Asked whether Alexander-Arnold needs to watch out, the Hungarian replied with a smile: "Yeah, Trent should take care of his position."

He added: "We need everybody, we have a lot of games. Trent got injured, unlucky, but without him we did very well, so hopefully nobody gets injured anymore."

The manager was also highly complimentary of Bradley — who now has four goal contributions in just two Premier League games this season — with Klopp naming his young right back as the reason why Liverpool didn't strengthen in the position last summer.

Also speaking to TNT Sports, he said: "He’s working hard, he’s a good footballer and helped us so much.

"Think back in the summer, I think there were quite a few people who said we need another right-back for different reasons.

"We really were very positive about Conor like we were about [Jarell] Quansah, I think a really big step made.

"That’s really, really important because with all the injuries we had, we cannot put a string of results together if these boys don’t show up."
