Liverpool assistant manager Pep Lijnders has given some insight into when we might see Divock Origi playing for the club once more after injury.

The Reds head to Arsenal tomorrow night and will be without the likes of Origi, with Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane also missing because of AFCON.

The Belgian forward will return soon enough, though, with Lijnders saying that after the Cardiff FA Cup clash we might see him back:

Anfield Watch Verdict

It's a little while yet before we'll see Origi again, but not too long.

He would have played a fair bit this month with AFCON going on but that is the way it goes, unfortunately for him.

Hopefully, though, he can still play a part in the final months of the campaign.
