Didi Hamann is not a huge fan of Mohamed Salah's recent tweet
Pundit Didi Hamann has criticised Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah for his most recent social media post.
The Egyptian international took to Twitter to imply that he is looking to take revenge against Real Madrid in the upcoming Champions League final.
The fixture will take place on the 28th of May in Paris.
Back in 2018, Real Madrid came up against Liverpool in the European Cup final. The La Liga side secured a 3-1 victory over the Reds. That is why Salah is looking to get revenge against the Spanish giants.
But, Hamann has made made it clear that he does not like the tweet.
The 48-year-old told Sky Sports the following: “I saw the tweet and I’m no big fan of it, I’ve got to say. I always prefer when players keep it quiet and they can talk after the game.”
Anfield Watch Verdict
We can see where Hamann is coming from. Sometimes comments like Salah's can come back to haunt you.
However, we liked what the winger posted on Twitter. Salah is determined to make sure that the Reds defeat Real Madrid in the upcoming Champions League final.
The reality is, all Liverpool supporters share the same feelings as the Egyptian international.
It was not pleasant watching Real Madrid defeat the Reds in the 2018 European Cup final, so it would be nice to get one over them.
But, it will not be an easy game. Real Madrid certainly have plenty of fire power. They scored six goals against Manchester City in the semi-finals (across both legs).
Therefore, the Reds will have to defend well if they are to claim the trophy this season.
Only time will tell if Liverpool are to prevail.
