Darwin Nunez showered in praise after fantastic West Ham display

Jurgen Klopp and Alexis Mac Allister have commended Darwin Nunez after the Uruguayan got on the scoresheet in Liverpool's win over West Ham on Sunday afternoon.
The Reds striker put in an excellent shift against the Hammers, making himself a constant threat to the West Ham defence before scoring the all-important second goal which reinstated Liverpool's lead in the contest.
Bagging his fourth goal in seven games, Nunez maintains his fantastic goals per minute record, scoring on average 1.22 goals per 90 minutes in the Premier League this season.
While thrilled by Nunez's performance, Klopp has spoken on the wider development of his number nine, enthused by the progress he is seeing.
"[He's taken] massive steps in the last few weeks," Klopp said in his post-match press conference.
"He is a threat. You all saw the goal, it was probably pretty good, right? That was really strong.
"The defensive work he puts in now, that’s probably the main difference. He always wanted, but it was less coordinated. Now that looks much better and we found a way how we can do it around him.
"Really good, absolutely."
Mac Allister, who exquisitely provided the assist for Nunez's goal, echoed the sentiments of his manager, providing an encouraging verdict in regard to his fellow South American.
Mac Allister said: "I think he's getting better and better. I think we will see the best of him this year.
"He's a very nice guy, he's working very hard. I'm really pleased for him."
