Darwin Nuñez deletes message after Toulouse miss
Darwin Nuñez appeared to comment on his missed open goal in the 5-1 win over Toulouse, before deleting the message.
Liverpool's Uruguayan striker impressed once again for the Reds on Thursday night, netting his side's third goal of the evening – his fifth of the season in all competitions.
It was another strong performance from the number nine, who has gone up a level after a mixed first season at Liverpool.
Speaking before the game, Jurgen Klopp insisted the former Benfica man's need for a period of adaptation was 'long gone' with the striker now firing on all cylinders.

However, Nuñez could, and should, have doubled his personal goal tally against Toulouse, when he rounded the keeper on 65 minutes, only to strike the post with the goal gaping. Fortunately, Ryan Gravenberch was on hand to finish from the rebound and the miss mattered little.
After the game, Klopp hailed Nuñez's performance, insisting he 'couldn't care less' about the one error.
He played incredible," Klopp said. "Honestly, in this moment, I couldn't care less that he hits the post in that moment because everything before was super-convincing, was absolutely clear.
"How he took the defender away, how he passed the goalie, it was a perfect situation. He played really good.
"The goal he scored, the situations he was involved in, dropping into midfield, staying on the ball, all these kind of things. There were a lot of good things and he's in a good moment and that's for us obviously important. Really pleased for him with the performance.
"Yes, it's a bit of slapstick that the ball doesn't go in and then Ryan finished it off, that is cool. I said it before the game, he's a happy boy or man in the moment and you can see that every day. And now we have to make sure that it stays like that."
On Friday morning, Nuñez took to X (formerly Twitter) to post a message that appeared to address the incident.
It read: "No worries, I keep going strong and working to improve personally and help Liverpool."
Curiously the message was later deleted, with the 24-year-old instead uploading a more generic post with images from the match alongside the caption "keep going".
Nuñez is likely to start again for Liverpool this Sunday when they welcome Nottingham Forest to Anfield.
The Uruguayan is seeking goal contributions in four consecutive games having registered assists in against Brighton and Everton, before scoring an emphatic finish in the first-half against Toulouse.
