Liverpool dealt Conor Bradley BLOW amid 'fears' over season-ending injury

There are concerns that Liverpool right-back Conor Bradley will miss the rest of the season after suffering a foot injury against Crystal Palace, according to journalist James Pearce.

The Reds fell to a frustrating 1-0 defeat to the Eagles on Sunday afternoon and their misery was compounded by young defender Conor Bradley coming off just minutes into the second-half due to injury.

After being replaced by the returning Trent Alexander-Arnold, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp confirmed that the situation 'didn't look great', although he admitted the extent of the issue would remain unknown until scans had been completed.

There is, of course, a chance that Bradley has escaped without serious damage to his foot, but The Athletic's James Pearce has suggested that the 20-year-old may not play again this season.

CONOR BRADLEY INJURY ADDS TO LIVERPOOL WOES

Speaking on the Walk On podcast, Liverpool journalist Pearce stated: "Then there was the sad sight of Conor Bradley hobbling off. It would be a surprise if we saw him again this season amid fears he may have damaged ankle ligaments."

If Pearce is correct and Bradley has suffered ankle ligament damage, then he could be facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines, and would certainly miss Liverpool's six remaining Premier League games.

While the presence of Joe Gomez and the return of Alexander-Arnold ease concerns from a Liverpool perspective, it still serves as a significant blow to the Reds as they hunt down an increasingly unlikely title.

The only other first-team players currently sidelined for Klopp are Thiago and Joel Matip, both of whom have likely played their final game for Liverpool with their contracts expiring this summer.
