REVEALED: Casemiro's embarrassingly low player ratings after Liverpool shocker

Casemiro produced one of the worst performances Old Trafford has ever seen being hooked at half-time after being at fault for both of Liverpool's goals at Manchester United.

The Brazilian lasted just 45 minutes after making huge blunders for both of Luis Diaz's goals in the first half and was also pretty uninspiring for the rest of the first half, losing possession far too easily and making sloppy passes.

Erik ten Hag decided to make the change after hearing Casemiro come under a lot of pressure from the home fans, who were frustrated with his performance that handed Liverpool a comfortable lead.

On Sky Sports, Gary Neville made a bizarre claim, stating that "That feels like a big moment for Erik ten Hag. Ten Hag is subbing someone off who is world class."

World class? Nobody who watched that performance from Casemiro could think that.

Definitely not the player ratings websites, with none of them giving him over a 5.9/10 rating.

Casemiro's Man Utd vs Liverpool ratings

AI-driven FootballCritic had Casemiro on 5.3 before he was taken off, while SofaScore was a bit more generous, awarding him a 5.8.

Worst of all was WhoScored, rating Casemiro at 5.1 before his match was mercifully ended by Ten Hag.

Casemiro's match stats also made for enjoyable reading if you're a Reds fan and might provide nightmare fuel for Red Devils fans.

Over 45 minutes, Casemiro completed just one of five long balls, was dribbled past twice, and won just 40% of his ground duels.

Perhaps even worse was the fact a 20-year-old came on for his Man Utd debut to replace him, with Toby Collyer taking to the Old Trafford pitch for the first time in a competitive game.
