Carabao Cup fixtures: schedule, key dates & final
Liverpool made it into the quarter finals of the Carabao Cup for the fifth time under Jurgen Klopp as they saw off Bournemouth on Wednesday evening.
It was hardly a pretty affair, but goals from Cody Gakpo and Darwin Nuñez won the match 2-1 for the Reds at a rain-soaked and wind-battered Vitality Stadium.

Liverpool are now just two more wins from the final and a chance to extend their own record total of League Cup triumphs to ten.
Klopp and co will first have to get past West Ham in the quarter finals to make that happen.

When & where will the quarter final vs West Ham be played?
Liverpool received a home draw against West Ham with the game definitely taking place at Anfield. The actual fixture date, however, is yet to be confirmed.
We do know that the quarter finals are scheduled for the week commencing 18 December, with Tuesday 19 or Wednesday 20 the most likely options.
The other quarter final fixtures are:

- Port Vale vs Middlesbrough

The remaining Carabao Cup fixture schedule is as follows:
- Carabao Cup quarter final - w/c 18 December 2023
- Carabao Cup semi final (first leg) - w/c 8 January 2024
- Carabao Cup semi final (second leg) - w/c 21 January 2024
- Carabao Cup final - Sunday, 25 February 2024
The semi final is the only round with two legs, while there are no replays in the previous rounds – with matches going straight to penalties after 90 minutes if the scores are level.
When & where is the Carabao Cup final?
Save the date, Reds! The first silverware on offer of the season – the Carabao Cup final – is set for Sunday, 25 February 2024.
The game will, as usual, be played at Wembley in London.
Liverpool have good recent form at the national stadium, winning both the Carabao Cup and FA Cup there in 2021/22.
