Liverpool play Brighton and Hove Albion at the Amex Stadium this afternoon and both teams have released their official lineups for the game.

Liverpool's last result against Brighton did not go quite to plan. Jurgen Klopp's side were winning 2-0 at Anfield before Graham Potter's side scored two goals in the second half to rescue a draw.

The Reds will be hoping that history does not repeat itself today as any dropped points for the remainder of the season could result in Liverpool not winning the Premier League.

In yesterday's press conference, Klopp hinted that there could be a couple of COVID cases in the team but he did not mention any names.

The German also confirmed that Roberto Firmino is set to return to the Liverpool squad today.

With the game set to kick-off at 12:30pm, both sides have confirmed their starting 11 and substitute benches for the game.

Liverpool team

Alisson, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joel Matip, Virgil van Dijk, Andy Robertson, Jordan Henderson, Fabinho, Naby Keita, Sadio Mane, Luis Diaz, Mohamed Salah.

Liverpool substitutes

Caiomhin Kelleher, Thiago Alcantara, James Milner, Roberto Firmino, Joe Gomez, Curtis Jones, Diogo Jota, Kostas Tsimikas, Harvey Elliott.
