New Mo Salah Liverpool contract CONFIRMED by top pundit
An Egyptian journalist has claimed that Mohamed Salah has signed a new contract with the club.
Salah’s contract currently expires at the end of the season, with Liverpool’s talismanic attacker able to sign a pre-contract agreement with foreign clubs in less than 4 weeks.

However, an Egyptian journalist is now reporting that Salah has renewed his deal.
Haytham Farouk is a former footballer who now works as an analyst for Bein Sports. He has amassed 1.5m followers on X and shared a photo with Salah where he congratulates him on signing a new deal.
“Congratulations on renewing your contract with the number you like and the period you want,” Farouk wrote in a post.
“The Egyptian king rules with his own judgments.”
Salah has been in incredible form for Liverpool this season, and has recently expressed his disappointment at the lack of a contract offer from the club.
Contract negotiations with Salah have historically been tough for Liverpool, as he has a complex set of image rights alongside high wage demands.
However, Farouk has claimed everything has been agreed, with Salah sealing a new deal with the Reds.
Mo Salah's new contract
Details are yet to emerge of what exactly Salah's contract could look like, but he has recently reportedly expressed a desire to sign even a one-year deal at the club, rather than the two or three year contract many expected him to push for.
Liverpool have been struggling financially, with the failure to qualify for last year's Champions League leading to record losses, and FSG are notoriously cautious in the transfer market.
It was thought that FSG would wait until the last moment to offer Salah a contract, given his age and the potential for a physical drop off as the season progresses. However, his form this season may have forced the club's hand.
Of course, Reds fans will need to wait for an official announcement from the club and Salah before breathing a sigh of relief.
