Why isn't Bournemouth vs Liverpool on TV?

Liverpool travel to Bournemouth this Wednesday looking to book a place in the Carabao Cup quarter finals.

The Reds are on a roll, having won two on the bounce since the latest international break and look to be getting back to their imperious best as we prepare to enter the busy winter period.

Lifting a record tenth League Cup this season may not have been a priority for Jurgen Klopp and co even a few weeks ago, but it will become a welcome opportunity rather than a needless distraction, if they are still in the draw for the final eight by Wednesday night.

Liverpool have already seen off the Cherries once this season (3-1 back in August), and Andoni Iraola's side have endured a terrible start to 2023/24, with just one win in the Premier League so far.

Things are looking positive for Liverpool ahead of the match at the Vitality Stadium then. However, there is one problem... Unless you're making your way down south with a match ticket, the game is going to be hard to watch.

Fans in the UK will not be able to watch Bournemouth vs Liverpool on TV (legally, at least).

The 19:45 GMT kick off at the Vitality Stadium has not been selected for broadcast. Instead, West Ham vs Arsenal (19:30) and Manchester United vs Newcastle (20:15) are the two fixtures chosen for airing by Sky Sports.

Yet again, the absence of options for UK-based Liverpool fans to watch their team live raises the ongoing debate about the lack of comprehensive coverage of games by broadcasters.

HOW TO WATCH BOURNEMOUTH VS LIVERPOOL ON TV

As stated, unfortunately for UK viewers, the game has once again not been selected for live broadcast. The best you've got is listening along on talkSPORT Radio or LFCTV GO for live match commentary.

However, for fans in other parts of the world, the game will be much easier to watch.

For those in Europe, DAZN and Viaplay are among the TV companies with the rights to the game.

In the United States, the game will be streamed on ESPN+.

Supporters can also wait until after the final whistle to catch the highlights, which will be posted on Liverpool's official YouTube channel.

Highlights and full match replay will be available anywhere in the world on LFCTV GO.

Of course, you can also stay tuned to Anfield Watch's social channels, where in-game updates will be provided.
