Bayern Munich and AC Milan are reportedly interested in a Liverpool forward
Bayern Munich and AC Milan are interested in signing Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino, according to SportAndGoal, as cited by LFC Transfer Room.
Bayern Munich and AC Milan are reportedly looking to sign the Brazilian due to the fact that they both possess an ageing forward or two.
Bayern Munich forward Robert Lewandowski is 33 years old. AC Milan strikers Olivier Giroud and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are 35 and 40 years of age respectively.
Firmino's current contract expires in the summer of 2023.
ANFIELD WATCH VERDICT
Back in the summer of 2015, Liverpool signed Firmino from Hoffenheim for a transfer fee of €41 million.
Since then, the Brazilian has gone on to score 93 goals and register 70 assists in 299 appearances for the Reds.
Firmino has also won the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, FIFA Club World Cup and Premier League title with Liverpool.
The 30-year-old has had a very good career at Anfield. However, Firmino showed on the weekend that he still has a desire to perform for the Reds.
The forward scored a hat-trick against Watford at Vicarage Road. Liverpool won the Premier League fixture 5-0.
Therefore, we don't want to see the club and Firmino part ways anytime soon.
