Attacker eyeing Liverpool stay despite Luis Diaz arrival

Japanese forward Takumi Minamino wants to reportedly stay at Liverpool and fight for his place in the side.

The attacker has had a tough time on Merseyside in terms of actually forcing his way into the team.

Diogo Jota's form has bumped him down the pecking order, whilst Luis Diaz could do that even more now he has arrived.

Minamino is a likeable player and hopefully he can use the extra competition as motivation to flourish.

He's not at the level of some of our attackers but still has something to offer, and it appears he believes that too.
