Arthur Melo has spoken on the influence Jurgen Klopp holds at Liverpool, claiming that the manager's image is in all aspects of the club.

The 27-year-old midfielder joined Liverpool on loan from Juventus on Deadline Day of the summer transfer window 2022.

However, he ended up playing a total of just 13 minutes for the Reds all season, amid a serious of fitness issues, and is widely remembered as a misstep in Liverpool's recent recruiting.

Despite his failure to launch, Arthur, now at Fiorentina, still has fond memories of his brief spell at Anfield.

In an interview with AS, he called the fans 'incredible', while talking up Klopp's impact.

"Liverpool has surprised me a lot. The fans are incredible, but within the club everything is in Klopp’s image," Arthur said.

"It's a family. There is always someone who wants to help others, from the first worker to the president.

"As a coach, he [Klopp] is fantastic, whether on the field or off, the person and character come into play. And with all that, how he manages the team is impressive. I only have nice things to say about him."

The Brazilian also reflected on his injury problems while in England, claiming he ended up taking positives from the experience.

He said: "I was really looking forward to playing in a different championship. Everything was going very well in a great team, but in training I got an injury… It was hard, mentally very hard, but you also learn. Now I look back and get something productive out of the injury.

"I started to work on the mental part, nutrition, rest and sleep. It was bad luck, but it belongs to the past now."

So far in 2023/24, Arthur has already made four appearances for Fiorentina, registering one assist.
