Liverpool defeated Arsenal 2-0 at the Emirates tonight and here are our player ratings for the game.

After a tense first-half performance by Liverpool, Jurgen Klopp sent his team out early in the second half.

The team talk must have been good because the Reds put in one of the best second half displays we've seen under Jurgen Klopp

So here are our player ratings for today's 2-0 win over Arsenal.

Alisson - 8/10

That save... Another magnificent moment that could define a title for Liverpool from Alisson Becker.

Trent Alexander-Arnold - 5.5/10

Not his best game in a Liverpool shirt. Gabriel Martinelli ran Trent Alexander-Arnold into the ground for the full 90 minutes. However, his passing was unreal again and he should've got an assist.

Joel Matip - 8/10

I'm running out of words to describe how good Joel Matip has been this season. Unbelievable game once again from the Cameroonian.

Virgil van Dijk - 7/10

A solid game from Virgil van Dijk. Had a couple of shaky moments but apart from that, decent.

Andy Robertson - 8/10

Andy Robertson has just shut down one of the most inform players in the Premier League Bukayo Saka. He also grabbed an assist, making it 10 for the season.

Fabinho - 8/10

Despite a bit of a hoof up the field whilst under no pressure in the first half, Fabinho was exceptional. In the second half, he really stepped up and took full control of the midfield.

Jordan Henderson - 6/10

Not Jordan Henderson's best game. Very sloppy during the first half but in the second half everyone stepped up and the Skipper helped settle things down a little.

Thiago Alcantara - 7/10

Even though Thiago got an assist today, his first-half display, along with everyone else, was not one that he'll want to relive. However, he redeemed it in the second half. The highlight of the game was him just standing over an Arsenal free-kick.

Sadio Mane - 6/10

Sadio Mane could've easily been brought off at half-time. However, he stayed on and when the original front three was formed he looked sharp and threatening.

Diogo Jota - 5.5/10

Even though he scored, Diogo Jota was invisible during the first half. Despite that, Jota did what Jota does best, score when he's needed. Overall though, a poor game from the Portuguese winger.

Luis Diaz - 5.5/10

It pains me to say this but it had to come one day. Luis Diaz's worst game in a Liverpool shirt. He just didn't look up to his usual standard tonight. Hopefully, we can see him fully firing against Nottingham Forst, if he starts.

Substitutes

Mohamed Salah - 7/10 (56 minutes for Diogo Jota)

Despite not scoring, when Mohamed Salah came on he helped the Reds take control of the game and calm everything down. A good performance considering he isn't fully fit.

Roberto Firmino - 8/10 (56 minutes for Luis Diaz)

A lot of people thought that Roberto Firmino would be our fifth choice forward now. This game proves otherwise though.

The Brazilian took the Arsenal defence and midfield by the scruff of their neck and showed them how the Reds can really play football. His linkup play, his pressing and his goal. A great substitute by Jurgen Klopp.

Curtis Jones - N/A (90 minutes for Thiago)

The Scouser made one pass!
