A new worrying trend has emerged that highlights a problem Arne Slot needs to fix at Liverpool.
Liverpool Transfer Latest: Arne Slot confirms Reds plans as Luis Diaz sale imminent
There's still a long season ahead for the Reds and the truth is anything can happen. Last season's capitulation will live long in the memory of the club's current squad.

Especially, on the back of a relatively poor run of form with Liverpool have dropped four points in the Premier League and winning just four of their last four matches in all competitions.
Both against Aston Villa and Everton now, Liverpool have also conceded sloppy goals and defensively the Reds look out of shape as highlighted by a worrying trend.
It's something that Slot needs to fix if the Reds are to be seriously considered as title contenders.
Slot's poor defensive trend
Liverpool have conceded five goals in their last three matches which now means Slot's side have conceded 26 goals in total for the season.
At the beginning of the campaign, Slot was lauded for fortifying the Reds' defence and making Liverpool one of the best defensive sides in Europe.
But now it feels like his tactics have been exposed or perhaps Liverpool are running short on energy. It's now Arsenal who have conceded the fewest goals with Mikel Arteta's side on 22 for the season.
In fact worryingly, Liverpool have conceded more goals at this stage of the season than they conceded last season (25).
Is that a sign of things beginning to crack for Slot? We are not sure. At the end of the day, we think it's not necessarily his tactics being exposed but rather the amount of minutes his star players are playing.
A key reason why Liverpool have been so good defensively has been because of the presence of Ryan Gravenberch but the Dutchman has played a lot of minutes this season and he's looked ragged in the last few matches.
Both against Everton and against Aston Villa it's no coincidence that the Reds didn't look the same at the same time as Gravenberch struggled to make his mark.
There's a reason why Liverpool wanted to sign Martin Zubimendi. Slot's tactics rely on a holding midfielder of the same ilk. In Gravenberch, Slot uncovered a true gem, but he's not enough.
