Arne Slot makes MASSIVE hint he doesn’t rate Liverpool star
The Liverpool head coach has made a huge hint about where he stands about one of his key stars.
Arne Slot has inherited a squad that was very much built by others and tailored for others.
Liverpool Transfer News: Reds sign NEW Alisson as mega €25m deal takes shape
The Dutchman has a team made for Jurgen Klopp’s heavy metal gegenpressing style but it might not serve Slot’s more controlled possession based football.
That’s why Liverpool are expected to make changes this summer.
Anfield Watch revealed exclusively that there’s going to be a major overhaul in the club’s attack.

And it’s not just the attack, Liverpool’s goalkeeping department could undergo a few changes, with one player almost certainly on his way out.
Slot hints he doesn’t rate Caoimhin Kelleher
One player who was open to leaving the club last summer was Caoimhin Kelleher.
The Republic of Ireland shot stopper had interest from several sides but didn’t receive an offer that was satisfactory for Liverpool.
Kelleher was therefore kept on but he’s not featured a lot, only when necessitated by Alisson’s injury.
And even when the Brazilian has a knock, Slot would rather he play through the pain rather than throw Kelleher in.
Anfield Watch revealed during the Paris Saint Germain game that the reason why Alisson doesn’t take goal kicks could be due to him wanting to further aggravate the hamstring injury he suffered at the start of the season.
But despite having that risk, Slot still continues to play the Brazilian.
And that is a strong indication of just how he regards Kelleher.
Clearly, the Liverpool head coach doesn’t think Kelleher is good enough to be starting games for the Reds.
This pretty much seals his fate at Liverpool. Especially with Giorgi Mamardashvili set to join the club this summer.
Valued at €21m by Football Transfers, Richard Hughes will probably be looking for a lot more to sell Kelleher.
Whether Liverpool will get what they want remains to be seen. One thing is for certain, he won’t be short of offers.
