Andy Robertson once again showed his funny side with a hilarious claim as he met Liverpool new signing Ryan Gravenberch for the first time.

The Dutch international signed a five-year deal with the club after Liverpool agreed a €40m fee with Bayern Munich to snap him up on deadline day. Gravenberch became the Reds' fourth and final signing of the summer after Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai and Wataru Endo and is set to wear the No. 38 shirt this season.

After completing the formalities of his deal, Gravenberch was at the AXA Training Centre to get acquainted with his new teammates, where he caught up with compatriots Cody Gakpo and Virgil van Dijk. After a brief embrace with the pair, the 21-year-old met Andy Robertson for the first time, who hilariously claimed that Liverpool finally have a good Dutch player in the squad after his arrival.

As seen below in the video, Robertson's claim was met with a loud laugh from Van Dijk.

Gravenberch is expected to be at Anfield when Liverpool take on Aston Villa in the Premier League on Sunday but will not be able to make his debut as the Reds couldn't register him on time for the game. The 21-year-old will have to wait a bit longer to make his first appearance for the club and is likely to do so when Liverpool face Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux on September 16th.

The international break could've been a good time for Jurgen Klopp to work closely with his newest recruit, but Gravenberch has been called up by Netherlands U-21 manager Michel Reiziger for the European Championship qualifiers against Moldova and Macedonia, due to which he'll be unavailable.
