Andre speaks out on Liverpool transfer links
Andre Trindade has addressed the speculation over his future, following Liverpool's failed offer.
The 22-year-old midfielder is known to have been among Liverpool's transfer targets this summer, with the Reds seeing a €30m offer knocked back by his club Fluminense recently.
While the Rio-based side are willing to sanction a deal for their number seven, they don't want to let him go until after their ongoing Copa Libertadores campaign, meaning a transfer in the summer window is highly unlikely.
Liverpool aren't the only club interested in Andre, who is touted as one of Brazil's hottest young prospects.

Speaking to Globo Esporte, the one-cap Brazil international maintained that he is '100% focussed' on his current club, despite the noise.
"Obviously it's normal to receive offers," Andre said. "Even more so when the team is doing well, qualifying from the Copa Libertadores, and at the top of the league. Others must have got them as well.
"I'm happy to get those proposals, but today, my mind is 100% focused on Fluminense."
Anfield Watch has confirmed that Liverpool, having seen their initial offer dismissed, are highly unlikely to return for Andre in January, while convincing Fluminense to do business now – with the Brazilian club set to play in the Copa Libertadores quarter finals – is nigh-on impossible. In addition, it is Anfield Watch's understanding that the player's release clause stands at over €80m.
Recent reports suggest the Reds, who failed in big-money pursuits of Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia, are still in the market for more arrivals before the close of the transfer window on 1 September.
A fourth midfield signing could still be on the cards – Ryan Gravenberch and Cheick Doucoure have been linked – while Jurgen Klopp is known to want a left-sided centre back.
