Alexis Mac Allister has won December's Premier League Goal of the Month award following his unbelievable strike against Fulham.

The World Cup winner netted his debut goal for the Reds in the first game of December against Fulham at Anfield, a game that Liverpool won 4-3 thanks to quickfire late goals from Wataru Endo and Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Alexis Mac Allister, who scored a few beauties during his time at Brighton, scored Liverpool's second of the afternoon against the Cottagers, a goal that put the Reds back in front after Harry Wilson's equaliser.

There would be a few more twists and turns at Anfield that day, but Mac Allister's goal would have stood out regardless of the result.

The Argentine was about 27 yards out when he let fly at Bernd Leno's goal, allowing a stray ball to run across his body before powering an exquisite effort into the far top corner.

Mac Allister is yet to net another for the Reds, but there's already a sense that he may be a man only capable of bagging screamers at Anfield.

The £35m summer signing also produced a sublime debut assist for the Reds back in September, scooping the ball over the West Ham United defence for Darwin Nunez to volley home in a 3-1 Anfield win.

Mac Allister is not the only award winner for Liverpool this season in the Premier League, Mohamed Salah named the division's Player of the Month for October following five goals in three appearances.

Alisson was also awarded Premier League Save of the Month back in August after his stunning reaction stop against Newcastle United from Miguel Amiron's fierce effort - a stop that proved pivotal for the Reds.

The Brazilian was unfortunate not to win Save of the Month for December as well, producing a stunning stop from Jefferson Lerma against Crystal Palace at the beginning of the month.
