"Absolutely brilliant" - Gary Neville lauds Jurgen Klopp
Former Manchester United full-back Gary Neville has praised Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp.
The German has already won two cup finals (League Cup and FA Cup) with the Reds this season. However, Klopp could potentially add the Premier League title and Champions League to his collection by the end of the month.
Liverpool remain in the title race and they will face Real Madrid in the European Cup final on the 28th of May in Paris.
With that being the case, Neville has lauded Klopp for the job that he has done this season.
As quoted by Anfield Watch on Twitter, he told Sky Sports: "Three finals. Getting close to (Manchester) City. I think it is undisputed. What he has done this season is absolutely exceptional. He built that great team for three or four years and I thought they were just going over the edge a bit. Decline. Not a big amount.
"But he has just brought them back. It is absolutely brilliant what he has done."
Anfield Watch Verdict
Neville is spot on in his assessment of Klopp. The German arrived back in 2015 and the club has not looked back since.
Klopp has won six major trophies with Liverpool. As we have already pointed out, the 54-year-old could add to his collection by the end of May.
Klopp is contracted until the conclusion of the 2025-26 campaign. Therefore, we are confident that Liverpool will continue to be one of the best teams in world football in the years to come.
We would advise every Red to not take the current times for granted. It is not everyday you get to see your side compete for every major honour in club football.
It is a privilege to be able to watch Klopp's team.
