A season-defining month: Liverpool's remaining fixtures in March
Liverpool kicked March off with a bang on Saturday, producing a 99th-minute winner against Nottingham Forest to avoid slipping up in the Premier League title race.
Darwin Nunez's late header made sure that Liverpool walked away from the City Ground with a 1-0 victory, maintaining their spot at the top of the table.
A draw would not have been a disastrous result in itself, but it certainly would have felt like one, especially given Manchester City went on to beat Manchester United on Sunday and Arsenal face a straightforward trip to Sheffield United on Monday night.
Therefore, it was the perfect way to start what could be a season-defining month for the Reds, with Jurgen Klopp's side playing some pivotal matches across three different competitions.
Here are Liverpool's remaining March fixtures.
SPARTA PRAGUE VS LIVERPOOL - EUROPA LEAGUE
The Reds return to Europa League action this coming Thursday when they travel to Czechia to face Sparta Prague in the competition's last 16.
Liverpool have only played Sparta twice before - in the last 32 of the 2010/11 Europa League - and will be eager to take a positive result back to Anfield for the second leg.
Sparta navigated a group that contained Rangers, Real Betis and Aris Limassol to progress, beating impressive Champions League dropouts Galatasaray in the round of 32.
The Czech champions are not to be underestimated, while Liverpool may have one eye on next weekend's mouth-watering Premier League encounter.

LIVERPOOL VS MAN CITY - PREMIER LEAGUE
Potentially Liverpool's most important game of the season, the Reds welcome world champions and title rivals Man City to Anfield next Sunday.
Liverpool managed a 1-1 draw at the Etihad earlier this season and know a victory would lift them four points clear of Man City, who still have to play Arsenal at the end of March.
With a whole host of injuries to contend with still, Klopp will be eager to welcome back Mohamed Salah for the clash with Pep Guardiola's side, even hinting that the Egyptian may be available for the title showdown.
But, despite some fitness concerns, Liverpool's Anfield record against the Cityzens should give them plenty of confidence heading into Sunday's crunch clash, with Guardiola having only won once there since his move to England.
It doesn't matter how they do it, the Reds must win.

LIVERPOOL VS SPARTA PRAGUE - EUROPA LEAGUE
Attention will turn back to the Europa League four days after the clash with Man City, with Liverpool hosting Sparta Prague in the last 16 second leg.
Who knows how significant this clash will be as it all depends on the outcome of the opening meeting, but the Reds will want to beat the Czech side regardless of the aggregate score heading into the match.
With the advantage of a bouncing Anfield on a European night, that should be no problem.
- Liverpool vs Sparta Prague - Thursday, 14 March (20:00 GMT)
MANCHESTER UNITED VS LIVERPOOL - FA CUP
Liverpool's reward for beating Arsenal, Norwich City and Southampton in the FA Cup so far is a quarter-final trip to Old Trafford to face Man Utd.
The two sides drew 0-0 earlier in the season at Anfield and last faced off in the FA Cup in January 2021, a game the Reds lost 3-2 away from home.
However, the Red Devils have been in incredibly patchy form this campaign despite some improved results since the turn of the year, with back-to-back Premier League defeats having now sent them spiralling into crisis once more.
Man Utd's home record has been dreadful this season, losing eight matches in their own stadium in all competitions - eight more than Liverpool have lost at Anfield.
With a trip to Wembley in the semi-final at stake, Liverpool will be desperate for another memorable trip to the red half of Manchester.

LIVERPOOL VS BRIGHTON
Following the March international break, the Reds return to action on the final day of the month, hosting Brighton in the Premier League.
The title picture could look remarkably different by the time the Seagulls travel to Merseyside, but their trip could prove an early audition for Roberto De Zerbi, who has been linked with succeeding Klopp in the Anfield dugout.
Liverpool drew 2-2 with Brighton earlier this season at the Amex Stadium and are actually four games without a win against the south coast side.
That simply must change come the beginning of April.
