These games will serve as King James’ last Olympic dance with it confirmed that Los Angeles 2028 will be a tournament too far for a man turning 40 in December.

He already claimed golds at the Beijing games in 2008 and at London 2012.

James has been a Liverpool part-owner since 2011 when FSG became the sole global marketer of his image rights and in 2021 he became a partner in FSG.
