United fans fury as Martinez poses with Mac Allister
Lisandro Martinez has sparked fury amongst Manchester United fans by posting a controversial photo on social media, the day after Liverpool’s dismantling of his team.
The defender posed next to his opponent Alexis Mac Allister as they both smiled for the camera on their way to Argentina’s camp for the upcoming international break.
United fans flooded the comments section on Instagram to express their displeasure at Martinez's post less than 24 hours after being humiliated by their arch-rivals.
Liverpool demolished their rivals 3-0 at Old Trafford on Sunday, in a result that is naturally hard to accept for United fans. But Martinez’s questionable decision to upload the picture of himself and his fellow countryman suggests he’s already forgotten the defeat.

Ten Hag exposed
Mario Melchiot, ex-Ajax player, shared his tactical observations in a recent ESPN analysis regarding Arne Slot’s triumph over Erik ten Hag at Old Trafford.
His insights include how Slot exploited Ten Hag’s weaknesses, particularly through midfielder Ryan Gravenberch, signed by Liverpool in 2023, a player who Ten Hag should definitely have been very familiar with.
Melchiot when reflecting on the match stated: “I was surprised by the way Ten Hag got exposed by Slot because they both know each other. They played against each other a number of times because of the Dutch background and in the league in Holland."

Liverpool legend defends Casemiro shocker
Liverpool’s dominance and destruction of Manchester United at Old Trafford was clear for all to see.
Arne Slot's side absolutely schooled the hosts, tactically outclassing them and making Erik ten Hag look like he was the new manager on the scene rather than his fellow Dutchman.
Ten Hag's men couldn’t cope with the intensity of their opponents and for a period in the second half, it seemed as if they would be completely overwhelmed by Liverpool as the inherent problems in the United camp were exposed. The home team couldn’t get a foothold.
But it was one United player in particular who stood out from the rest in the worst way possible. Casemiro was, to put it bluntly, atrocious against Liverpool, being at fault for the first two goals. He looked helpless in the middle of the field and his substitution at half-time could be the final nail in the coffin of his career in English football.
