Jamie Redknapp reveals what Arsenal midfielder said on Liverpool's new signing Federico Chiesa
Jamie Redknapp has revealed what Arsenal midfielder Jorginho said about Liverpool's new signing Federico Chiesa.
Former Liverpool midfielder Jamie Redknapp has opened up about a conversation he had with Jorginho during EURO2020, after an A League Of Their Own episode who outlined how reliant Italy had become on Liverpool's summer signing Chiesa.
"I think back to the Euros when they won it, Italy. I was filming an A League Of Their Own [episode] and spoke to Jorginho about him (Chiesa) when he was on the show.

"I asked what he thought of him and he said he carried our Italian side for so long, he was amazing," Redknapp told Sky Sports News on Friday.
Chiesa and Jorginho were both named in the EURO 2020 Team of the Tournament with Liverpool's new man spearheading his side to international triumph.
Chiesa joined the Reds for £10 million after being frozen out of Thiago Motta's Juventus squad.
REDKNAPP DELIGHTED WITH CHIESA SIGNING
Redknapp went on to convey his excitement on the acquirement of Chiesa.
"As a Liverpool fan, I am delighted with this bit of business!
"He has obviously had injuries, but if Liverpool can get him back to fitness and make sure they manage his minutes carefully, they have got an absolute bargain and a star. He has got amazing pace," Redknapp said on Sky Sports News.
CHIESA COULD BE LOW-RISK HIGH-REWARD
Chiesa's arrival to Merseyside has inevitably come with a narrative regarding his injury record.
Since Italy's European success, the winger has missed almost a year of football with a cruciate ligament tear but everyone will be hoping his time on the sidelines is a thing of the past as he featured 70 times over the last two seasons. Chiesa also played more minutes than the likes of Dominik Szoboszlai and Trent Alexander-Arnold last season.
The demands on the Italian playing as many minutes will be less at Anfield too, with Arne Slot now boasting six talented forwards at his disposal so any potential injury doubts may be cooled with his minutes being managed.
Having him fit to provide back up to Mohamed Salah as well as being able to operate across the front three could see Liverpool have a real asset in their ranks for a very mere price.
